Remembrance Poppies

The Red Silk Poppy is a quintessential symbol of remembrance and welfare for war veterans.  Traditionally worn as a brooch, this flower is still worn today to show support for veterans who have served as well as our fallen heroes on Memorial Day.  Poppies are the international symbol for sacrifice. They are customarily worn during Remembrance Day in Britain and are often seen on the Royal Family.

Today, remembrance poppies are mostly used in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand—countries which are Realms of the British Commonwealth—to commemorate the servicemen and women killed in all conflicts. They are used to a lesser extent in the United States.

As a 4th generation American company, M&S Schmalberg is proud to continue this tradition.  Our Red Poppy artificial flower pins are the perfect way to honor the men and women of the armed forces.  Each Poppy flower is hand crafted in our New York City atelier.  Whether it’s a remembrance day poppy, a veterans day poppy or a memorial day poppy, make sure it’s an M&S Schmalberg poppy.

Our artificial poppies are available for purchase direct from our website.  You can also purchase from our ebay shop where a portion of each sale goes to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.
