There are a wealth of fashion resources in New York City’s Garment District. Nobody knows that better than the CFDA‘s director of professional development, Sacha Brown. In true DIY fashion, she found a way to do it her way! “We knew it would take some time to find the perfect wedding gown, since I had so many designers whom I wanted to support,” the bride says. After a few trips to New York with her mother and sister, Chloe, they found the perfect Carolina Herrera design and paired it with a veil adorned with more than 150 silk flowers, custom-made by M & S Schmalberg. The results are simply stunning.

“My veil was such a labor of love. I had found a design I loved, and the talented people at M&S Schmalberg created each individual flower in white, ivory, and blush.”
