Like a (Sewing) Needle in a Haystack “When you love something, you stay there” Our very own Miriam Baez was recently interviewed as part of a wonderful article in The Village Voice. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Miriam fell into her craft by chance in the 1970s. It was through an employment agency placement that she discovered her love for the trade. 2021 Met Gala
Emily Ratajkowski wore a custom Vera wang crimson red silk plunging strapless gown with a trumpet silhouette accented by hand sewn macramé lace appliqué and cut-away details. The gown was worn with an M&S Schmalberg crimson red hand cut silk organza floral neck piece.

This year’s Gala was a celebration of American Fashion. Lili Reinhart made all 50 States proud in this stunning Christian Siriano gown adorned with the official flower of each US State.
